@Andrew Singh Have an exit strategy in your partnership agreement. Also know your business partner well.

Thank you for the advice Alecia. Is there somewhere I can find example partnership agreements with exit strategies that I can use as a template?

Quote from @Eliott Elias:

First and foremost make sure this is a partner you are comfortable doing business with. Are your goals the same? Do you have similar values? Do you know the persons family? Have times got hard with that other person?

Yes I understand the importance of that. Our goals are definitely aligned and we have similar values. We have been friends for several years

Quote from @Samuel Diouf:

What has you interested in multi-families in the PA area?

The prices are a bit lower than my home state of NJ, but it's still close enough that I can go to if anything.

Hello,

My friend and I would like to get into long distance real estate investing (ideally a multifamily in the PA area). We are splitting it 50:50. Most of the resources I have looked at cover information for a single investor. I was hoping for some guidance/suggestions on the steps involved with regards to a partnership. Advice on filing an LLC, obtaining the mortgage, and the title of the house would be greatly appreciated.

Also if there is any good references for this type of situation available, directing me to them would be really helpful.

Thank you
