I am looking into a couple of different markets and am wondering about the Georgia market. What are thoughts on the market to buy a rental. Anyone who has experience in this area? I was looking at Atlanta and Macon area. I know the houses are cheaper which is a plus. But this also means rent is lower and sometimes means not the best renters. Any thoughts appreciated.

I am going to sell a house and am able to use the equity from that to invest. I have been reading books and listening to podcasts. It seems easy but difficult at the same time. What suggestions are there? How do I find a mentor or someone I can ask questions, that I can trust?
