Hey David thank you for the response! Bigger Pockets has definitely opened my eyes that financial freedom is obtainable and they have so much awesome information and tools, I'm about to go pro so i can start analyzing deals.

I was thinking about wholesaling to start since i don't have a a lot of money to start investing.

I have heard a lot of people talk about that book and it's definitely on my list of books to read. So far i have read "rich dad poor dad" which got my whole investing imagination going and now I'm reading "think and grow rich" by Napolean Hill which is not as entertaining but really motivates me.

Thank you again for the response, and this definitely helped me. Good luck to you as well!

Hi I am about a little more than 2 months in to my real estate (for lack of a better term) "career". I have been mostly trying to gain knowledge through the BP Free Courses which i just finished and I'm now looking to pick up some books. I heard the best way to learn the market and understand markets is to analyze your own. So that's where i am going to start. I am about to just dive in the free book offered on BP

"The Ultimate Beginner’s Guide to Real Estate Investing".

Is this a good place to start? Or should i focus my attention to one topic? I realized with not a lot of capital I should get wholesaling knowledge and find deals for investors. Should i pick up a book on analyzing deals and wholesaling instead?

Your thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for your service, i am new to real estate as well. I read Rich Dad Poor Dad and loved the book but i would stay away for paying for any seminars or classes, BP has provided so much knowledge on here for free. All the information is from active investors or directly from BP. Good Luck to you!

Thank you, that is much appreciated!

Wow this looks awesome, does anyone happen to know of any of these in Orange County???

I wish I lived near Indy!!! That's awesome!

What's up dude!? Haha just kidding, just wanted to give you welcoming feel from California. Happy New Year and I'm new to BP as well but it sounds like you have experience in real estate. Good luck to you on your 2016 endeavors as well!

If you would like to meet up before then and talk about investing let me know. I am in Mission Viejo and can meet at a Starbucks.

I am currently flipping homes and am current searching for my next project at the court house steps.

Thank you @Joe Homs , I don't think i have any family birthdays around that day or other obligations so it shouldn't be a problem making it to that meeting. I'll send you a request to connect so we can message each other and that would be cool to meet up and talk about investing, Starbucks always works for me. Thanks for the response!

Hi my name is Andrew, I am 22 and I am from Southern California and currently still living here. I am looking to connect with like minded people who have goals of becoming a successful Real Estate Investor. I have begun the free courses here on BP, i listen to the podcast everyday on my way to work and from work going home. I am currently searching for my Niche. I work as an employee right now but plan on becoming a full time investor hopefully by 2017. I would like to meet up with others at some real estate clubs or meetings in the Orange County area, i currently live in the city of Orange. I am open to linking up with anyone. You never know who could end up becoming your partner in the future. I really like how BP has opened doors to the real estate world. I'm thankful i stumbled upon this website. Happy New Year to everyone!
