I looked at 3, multifamily units in Buffalo managed by Dasa properties that were for sale and they were in poor condition cosmetically and some structural issues as well. One of the tenants of one showed me photos when they moved in and it was an absolute disaster; the tenant cleaned the place themselves.

Could be the owner of the properties but I would vet Dasa thoroughly before working with them.

Hey Maddio,

One way to stretch the 5 mortgage rule is to put 5 under your name and 5 under your wife's name if they let you do this.  Your debt to income will be tight so you'll still ideally want to work with a portfolio lender where you can explain this problem.

Best of luck!
