Hey everyone,

I received an email from Michael Sherwood about the upcoming meetup. The email says Thursday January 19th. January 19th is a Tuesday so is the meetup on Tuesday the 19th or Thursday the 21st?

Thank you

Hello Everyone,

The other day at work I heard a conversation between a few people who were talking about investing in real estate for passive income. They seemed really exciting about Real Estate, but just from listening, I knew they were very uneducated on the subject. There is a saying that goes along the lines of if the mailman is talking about the market and how good it is to jump in, the market is too hot and you should stay away (sorry if I screwed that up).

I wanted to get some other opinions on whether others are thinking the market is getting too hot and if people are getting involved that shouldn't be (if you understand what I mean here).

Let me know

Thank you

Thank you for all the replies. I will take all ideas into consideration.

Hello everyone,

I am looking to get business cards to handout at networking events, but I am not sure what to put on them.

I am a new investor and I do not have a company or anything established. I was thinking of just putting my name, email, phone number and what I currently do for a living on the card.

Is there any other information I can add to the card? I feel like the card will be mostly blank since I do not have much information to put on it.

Thanks for the help!

Thank you everybody for all the replies! I will make sure I implement all those different strategies!

Hello everybody!

I'm trying to learn and gather all the information I need to start analyzing some properties in my area. The biggest problem I have now is how to determine which areas are good versus bad to invest in.

I have a handful of ideas to find out this information such as:

-drive through different neighborhoods to see the kind of activity that is going on

-ask local investors in my area

-possibly call an agent and/or property manager to help me

Are these the right kind of ways to determine how good each neighborhood is?

I'm from Buffalo NY and looking to invest locally.

No problem Jerry! Thanks for clearing it up

Thanks for the reply Matt!

I didn't see the late payments in 2013 and 2014. Now I understand whats going on.

Thank you

Hey Jerry, Thanks for the reply!

What does co. mean? Just so I fully understand what you are saying.

Thanks

I'm looking at a property in my local area and I was trying to figure out the taxes for the property. I went to the county website and I didn't understand what I was seeing. Can someone help me read this document.

Thank you
