Hi, I'm brand-spanking-new to BP, (working on updating my profile here) but not to this type of discussion. I work in the court system as a court stenographer. Prop 47 is going to cost us, but not sure how it will affect the housing market. I'm sure it will, eventually. Maybe the influx of homelessness and the rise of crime, which worries me. My current home I bought because of the location- we can walk to everything and it's a pretty nice area. But I notice more and more homeless people. And there has been some talk of more and more theft-type crimes in the area. There's no real punishment for theft crimes anymore - even check fraud. It just makes me very angry.
