I've talked to 2 mortgage loan officers and they both say that it can't be for a 4plex, because it can not be income producing or an investment property, even though I mentioned I would be living there. I just think they don't have much knowledge in that area.

Yes, that it the plan to live in it, so there will not be a problem if it's like a fourplex? It shouldn't right?

Anyone with expired in FHA Loans in Utah on buying a fourplex?? Or who has one already, what was the process and requirements? :)

I thought so too, then I read into the requirements and says the property must be "non-income providing" . Thanks Ross, I will look into that !

Has anyone done a 4plex financing through a USDA Loan? If yes, how was the process? How did you get passed the "non profit property" restriction??

I've been looking at properties in Puerto Vallarta where my family is from and my uncle is a civil engineer. My husband and I want to start, just don't know where or how to start. Anything helps :)
