@Dave Visaya Thanks for the welcome! I'm already learning so much.

@Michael S. Thanks for the welcome, and I'll definitely be looking into that book.

Hey Braden, sorry about the multiple posts. I was posting from the iOS app on my phone so that may have had something to do with it. I'd be interested to learn more about wholesaling, but I've been learning a lot about different capital sources such as hard and private money which is where I would plan to get my first few flips from. I haven't been sitting under any Guru's, just reading a lot on BP and some other places as well as listening to the BP Podcasts (I'm on #11). I don't think I could afford a Guru anyway from what I can tell.

Scott, I'd love to go in on some deals together. It'd be great to have someone more experienced to help, especially for my first few deals. What do you have your eye on?

Accidentally posted this twice, do I have to have a mod delete it? Don't see a way to do so myself.

Hi there! My name is Alex and I'm from the New Orleans area. My wife has been putting up with me since the summer of 2015, with hopefully many more years to come! After binge reading Robert Kiyasaki's, "Rich Dad Poor Dad," I've been relentlessly searching for an investment vehicle I can wrap my head around and utilize to build a secure future for my family. I chose real estate because of the massive wealth building potential given the proper time and skill, and because it just made sense to me compared to some of the other options out there. I'm very new to the real estate realm, so there's a whole world of learning ahead of me. Part of the draw for this business was the possibility to get started with out any of my own money, which is good because I don't have any to begin with. I'd like to start out flipping on the side to build capital, then eventually move into the buy and hold strategy to build long term passive income. At some point I do want to get my license to open up the opportunities that come along with that, as well as the business legitimacy. I'm also very interested in purchasing a multi family property in the near future so my wife and I can live rent free. I look forward to the lessons to be learned both here on BP and in the real world, as well as the exciting relationship opportunities to be found in this community.
