Came across some other good recommendation for NCH but also considering cheaper options. New to this whole space, in the process of acquiring our first 3 units, closing at the end of the month. Would appreciate any recommendations you may have!

Hey Bigger Pockets Community,

My brother and I are under contract for our first rental property purchase.

Located in the outskirt of Charlotte, where my brother resides, there are 3 turnkey units with tenants already in place we are acquiring. It is a new property, less than 6 months old, so don't expect many routine repairs to start. We wanted to try self managing to start. He is available on weekends for site visits as needed. Will likely be purchasing a property management software subscription, and already have several contacts for handymen in the area. Looking for any tips on how to succeed at this endeavor as this is new for both of us. Appreciate any help!

Post: Eastern PA Market - New Investor

Hello everyone,

I am a new investor looking for my first property (ideally multi-family, 2-4 units) in the Eastern PA region. Open to the greater Philadelphia region extending to the Lehigh Valley with a budget up to $500-600K.

As a new investor, would prefer something in the Class B range, ideally closer to turn-key but open to doing some minor rehab if needed.

I grew up in Montgomery County PA so am familiar with the areas. Curious on people's thoughts of the long term potential of the Lehigh Valley, and any one area in particular such as Allentown vs Bethlehem vs Emmaus.

Looking forward to any suggestion and advice going forward as I try to navigate this journey!
