Hi @Michael Robbins, thanks for your response! I would love info on managing my own rental. Do you have rentals that you manage?

@Karen Lazcano

Thanks Karen. Thanks for responding! It is terrifying and exciting,lol. What made you decide to go with a property manager for one and self-manage the other two? Have you done any renovating and if so, do you have contractors that you would recommend?

Hi Jim,

I'm a newbie too, on the verge of buying my first rental condo in Las Vegas (Henderson, actually). Terrified? yep. I got kind of lucky and backed into a deal that started on MLS and then became a private off-market deal. Currently, I'm trying to get my arms around learning what I need to know about property management, and also trying to develop a list of contractors who can do what I hope will be basic rehab. I would love to connect with you and any other newbie LV investors.

I am a brand new investor about to purchase my first rental condo in Henderson, NV. Are there any other brand new (or experienced) investors in the LV area who would like to connect and share progress/offer guidance?  My biggest challenge right now is getting my arms around learning everything I need to know about being a property manager.

Thanks!
