Congratulations Daniel!  My husband and I are closing on a house soon and it will be our first flip.  We plan on having a success story to post during the summer!  Thank you for sharing the details of your flip, and your suggestions.  It's the beginning for a lot of us so it's nice to hear of your success!  Good luck on #2!

What drywall installers would you suggest?  We need to drywall a 2-car garage.  We are in Pleasant Garden, close to Greensboro.  Thanks in advance!

Hi Maximus.  We have met with Ike Oglesby in Greensboro. He could probably help you.

Wow @Brian Hyla, those sound like incredible deals for you. I hope all goes as planned. It seems like you are on the less-financial risky side since your partner is funding it. Can you tell us how you've set up the partnership? An LLC? Congratulations on doing this for yourself, instead of making your former employers rich. I hope to be making myself money too in the near future with flipping and buy and hold. Our dream, however, is to build high energy-efficient modern homes. Please follow up on this thread as you can with your progress. Thanks.

Welcome @Roger Stewart! I'm also in Greensboro. We're getting started investing too. We've been to some of the Triad REIA's meetings. Planning on getting more involved after the summer, and planning to buy our first "real" investment property. Good luck. Hope to meet you soon. Take care.

Hi Keith.  Welcome to BP!  You've come to the best place for networking.  What area of NC is Corapeake?  Can you tell us a little about your background, or if you're new, what type of investing you want to do?  For me it seems like the more information I give to other BP folks, the more response I get.  Good luck!

@Zachary Betters - Congratulations on your first flip!  That's quite an accomplishment.  I plan to be able to say the same thing very soon.  Would you mind sharing some details?  Price paid, repair estimate compared to actual repair amount, did you use a contractor to do the work, or did you sub-contract it out yourself, any things that didn't go well, things that went better than expected, etc. etc.  It's just nice to hear the stories of those who have done what we're planning to do.  Thanks!
