Question for everyone.

If I already own a rental property from a turnkey company would I still qualify for a FHA loan?

I would like to purchase a multi family 3 flat building in which I will be living in one of the units and renting the other 2 out. I just won't be able to put down 20% so I was wondering if I can be qualified for an FHA loan or is it too late since I already own a rental property?

Does anyone own a rental property on a farm? Do you think it would be profitable or just a headache?

Hey everyone! Are there any house flippers in Illinois?

I know a few house flippers around here that keep saying this is not a good time flip homes because of the real estate bubble. I was hoping to get some other inputs regarding that. Would appreciate any responses ❤️😊

Hi everyone!

I’m debating on getting my first rental property under my own name or partnering up with my sister. Now I don’t mind having a partner but my question is this- I have heard Brandon Turner saying numerous times that banks will typically stop giving out loans after 5-10 properties. When he says this , does he mean that I can’t have over 10 properties under my own name or is that including partnerships? For example, if I have 10 properties under my own name , will the bank give me a loan for more properties if I have a partner?

@Mark Navarrete thank you so much, it helps a lot, I appreciate it!

@Charlene Caceres wow that’s great!

@Daniel Cullen I will definitely be looking around since most people are suggesting I start in my own state. Are you an investor or an agent?

@Jeff Burdick thank you for your response! I see that you are an investor from Chicago. What areas do you think are profitable. I spoke to a real estate agent in my area and he suggested Hanover Park

HEY EVERYONE! I'm new to BP. I have been watching a lot of the videos on the youtube channel and currently reading the book on rental properties (which I love) but just decided to be an active member on this website. Are there any newbies like me and if so what is your niche? I'm interested in starting my investing journey on single family homes buy and hold. I live in the Chicago land area but with the homes being so over priced, i don't think there would be a great return on my investment. For this reason, i have been debating whether I should start cold calling people that have pre foreclosure properties around my area or if I should just work with turnkey companies that are out of state. I have been seeing a lot of great reviews with Memphis Invest. I know I'm kind of all over the place but would love to get some feed back on what you would if you were in my place. Would love to meet some investors as well!
