Hello everyone,

I have a bit of money in an IRA right now that I would like to eventually use towards the purchase of a rental property. I am looking for advice from other investors who have used their IRA money. What did you do? Did you accept the penalty and take the money out? Did you use a self directed IRA? Thanks!

Thank you so much Tiffany for the offer! I am working full time at my W2 still. Still working towards being able to quit the W2 and focus full time on real estate. 

Daniel, thanks for the reply! House hacking is exactly where I plan to start. Probably a duplex (have to make sure I perfect analyzing first). I will definitely be going to many meetups as soon as all of this Covid 19 stuff calms down. As for the mentor, that's a good idea. I will definitely do that given the opportunity. Thank you!

Thanks Anthony! That's exactly what I'm doing right now. A lot of reading and webinars etc. Thats what I need is a mentor. Not entirely sure how to find one yet though. 

I am looking to hear from investors in regards to how they started. Your experiences, your mistakes, your success. Any tips appreciated. Thanks!
