Hi Jeremy!  I am also a new investor from Waterloo with my first property being purchased this past December in London. I have found a great meet up in London run by Matt Geerts. Very Casual and newbie friendly with lots of great info being shared. They run one every month. Always looking to meet and network with local investors, if you'd like to meet and chat over a coffee feel free to message me here.  All the best!

Thinking about getting my Real Estate license and wanted to put it out there to see what the pros and cons would be for an investor. What are the advantages/disadvantages to being licensed. I'm a new investor and looking to do whatever I can to maximize my results. Any experiences are appreciated!

@Marlon Fong thanks so much.

Hi, I am from Waterloo, Ontario and interested in the requirements to becoming a property manager in Ontario, also what courses/schools anyone has any feedback on. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone! Just want to start by saying how impressed I am with this site. Seems like a great place to learn without judgement. Wanted to invest in real estate for a long time but due to circumstances haven't bought my first until this past December. Bought a SFH in London, Ontario. Now I'm obsessed and looking to learn everything I can and do it again. I live in Waterloo, Ontario. I own a painting/ Reno business and my wife is a real estate agent. I attend as many meetups as I can. If anyone local has any info on more networking meets or wants to start something I'm open to discuss. Thanks and look forward to soaking up whatever I can and making this a full time endeavor!
