@Steve Yoo that is very true, I believe that's also wrong because they show it like it's the easiest thing to flip the house, but they don't show the parts when it gets ugly.

@Brad Gibson thank you for the great advice. I'm just curious here, how much do they usually charge?

Hello to all BP members,

I'm a young college student, planning on starting as real estate investor this summer.Tonight I have a question about flipping. Every time I watch the shows and read blogs about flipping most of them talk about how they change the kitchen cabinets, completely renovated the bathroom, new floors, fresh painted walls. However, not many are talking about checking if gas is working properly, if plumbing is connected in the right way, if house is stable and it would actually be good house for many years to come for someone who is spending everything they have on our flip house.

I apologize if this question is too basic, but I just don't see flippers deal with this a lot and I believe this should be a first thing they should be fixing and checking. Maybe I'm missing out big time.

Let me know.

Thank you for replying @Christopher Salazar , I agree with you about your comment regarding websites. They are surely important no matter what kind of investor one is or in which  profession one is in. However, @Ned Carey I understand what you are saying, and I agree as well. Surely, there are numbers of things that come first, one those priorities are in tact, I believe website comes in.

Hello everyone,

I'm in last semester of my college and I'm taking web design class. In this past few weeks I was able to build a basic website, but as semester progresses I believe that I can get it to advanced level if I put some time on building it.

My question is, is it crucial to have a website as real estate investor or social media would be enough?

Thank you everyone

Hello @Brandon Monaghan

I'm in the same boat as you, I'm graduating from college in May as well. I'm planning on having full-time accounting job and work on building my real estate on part-time basis, until I build my wealth.  To answer your question, I think that going to real estate is great idea because if understood completely and built step by step on the long-term plan it can really build  one's wealth.

Hello everyone,

I'm young investor eager to start flipping houses. I was wondering is there certification that would help me diverse myself from others or is that done mostly by your reputation, recent work done and such.
