Hi all!

I am in the midst of hashing out the last few legs of my business plan. In short, the business will consist of placing 3-5 nordic-styled tiny homes on some land (TBD) in Northern Michigan. When it comes to financing both the construction and land purchase (the tiny homes are manufactured in a Chicago warehouse, but will be permanently affixed to the land as a stick-built), what have your best experiences been to get that done?

Looking at just shy of $450,000 for land purchase + home purchases + site work to get her up and running.

And on a related note...does anyone have any GREAT RE agents they'd recommend in Northern Michigan, with a focus on vacant land/acreage? The few I've spoken with are just not going to get the job done.

Looking into potentially building on a piece of land we own in Lancaster, Ohio. Does anyone have recent (during Pandemic) experience with either building, or getting a modular home put on a lot? We are looking for a 4 bedroom (or 3+office) and 2.5 bathroom home, with a full basement. Pricing seems to be all over the place, and would love to hear about personal experiences any BP members have had with building or securing alternative house options.

The housing market has discouraged us, so looking for other options to get out of our current home in Reynoldsburg, and into something with a bit more yard/privacy.

@Marc Rice and @Steven Foster Wilson feel free to shoot me a message and I can send further details. Would love to chat about a potential partnership.

I have a lead on a wedding venue and would love to include a partner(s) on the deal. I am prequalified for a portion of what the mortgage would be, but would definitely need a financial partner.

Property overview;

3 bed/3 bath/3000 sq ft fully renovated house

4 car garage that has a carriage house above that could be a ‘getting ready’/bridal suite

Pavilion with commercial kitchen, electricity, bar area

Pond and grassy area for ceremonies

Parking area for 100+ cars

Rustic barn that could be updated for additional event space.

13 acres

I have experience running large scale, high end events and would like to take on an operational/boots on the ground role with this property. Wedding venues in the area charge $5000/day for a Friday or Saturday, and are usually fully booked during wedding season (minimum of 2 bookings/week) May ~ October.

I would be more than happy to send anyone interested the RE listing of the property, that includes a walkthrough video.
