This monthly meeting is open to any and all local real estate investors or professionals looking to learn from and network with like-minded individuals in the area. We typically kick off the event with a brief presentation on a real estate related topic. We then break up into smaller groups to network. Suggestions and ideas for the structure of the meeting or for future presentations are always welcome!

The event will take place in the “Skidmore Room” at the Embassy Suites Hotel. This is a private room attached to the bar area. Upon entering the hotel lobby, walk right and the room is in the back left corner. We hope to see you there!

I am working on a 4 family building right now, but I just learned that the property has private septic not public sewer. I understand that regular professional inpsections/maintenance is a must but I'm wondering if the potential for a breakdown, etc. is enough for this to be a deal breaker. Thoughts?

I am a new BP Pro member and have spent the last couple of months in my area looking for great deals - any of the properties worth purchasing just seem to require an extensive amount of work. So my real estate agent suggested looking into new modular home construction. She said modular homes are much more affordable and all in, if we could find a plot of land at a discount, I'd probably be around the same investment as if I bought a multi-family and fixed it up. Has anyone had any experience in this space? Are there cons to building a new modular 4-plex vs buying an older more run-down one that I am not considering? Any thoughts would be much appreciated!!
