Hi David,

Not right now. You can access the dashboard features from the mobile site though (if you to go biggerpockets.com in Safari / Chrome or some other internet browser on your phone).

Does the algorithm not go back very far or when does it start appearing?

Right now my self and at least 5 other long term, very active tax pros have nothing there for our Top Subjects. We all have no less than 1500 posts 1k votes, ect

However there's a brand accountant with 15 posts and 7 votes who has his top subject listed as taxes and accounting.

I think the check mark is a little misleading too- on several websites a check mark is something you get when you're "verified" in some way- so a check mark next to top subjects seems like it's something you had to get approved, or prove you were an expert in.

I agree with Natalie here.

I don't have any 'Top Subjects' badges for my account.  Although my measly 500 posts is peanuts compared to some posters, I see new users that have posted 10 times that have a 'Top Subjects' badge, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me...

I have a feeling the BiggerPockets Broncos fans are smiting me because of my Kansas City Chiefs fandom...😜

Thanks so much for your feedback, we're taking it into consideration as we figure out the best way to optimize this algorithm.

Our goal is to help users be able to trust others in the forums. While we optimize this algorithm, keep in mind that the best way to have top subjects appear on your profile is to post quality discussions and responses in the forums.

Hi @Natalie Kolodij -- Thanks for your question.

To explain a bit more about this new feature: Your top subjects are calculated by looking at which topics you post about frequently and the upvotes you receive on your posts. The best thing you can do to change your top subjects is to respond to questions and start discussions in the forums on topics that you want to appear on your top subjects.

So basically, the way to get top subjects on your profile is to talk about them and earn credibility!

Unfortunately, for example, right now there is an ongoing thread with someone blatantly arguing his tax fraud. We're 5 pages deep.

Now his profile says taxes are something he specializes in because he's been arguing/posting on this topic for days.

I think there maybe needs to be more weight on how many VOTES in a topic, not just comments in that topic.

Hi @Natalie Kolodij,

I wanted to let you know that the top subjects are calculated by an algorithm based on the following: number of posts in the last few months, and number of upvotes. These components are calculated on a per-topic basis to make sure we're comparing apples to apples.

Our goal is to encourage our knowledgable users (like you) to post high quality topics and replies on those subjects.

Thanks James! I ended up finding the locale for this one in my email. 👍🏼

Yeah...it's super annoying that the event page on the mobile app doesn't show location, date, time, etc.

@Robert Perry, @Daniel Luke, - any chance this is something that is a quick fix? It's definitely been a barrier for people trying to attend our events who use the mobile app as their primary access to event information. You basically need to retype all the same information into the initial post just to make sure those people still have visibility to the information.

Hi @James Masotti - thanks for your feedback, we'll take it into consideration for future iterations of our events system. Moving forwards, you should reach out to our support team with questions or suggestions for our site. They can be reached at [email protected]

Thanks again!
