Rents are highly dependent on where in Charlotte your at, best bet would be to run rental comp on the mls. If your working with an agent, they should be able to set that up for you.

Hello,

I recently purchased my first property in Charlotte, NC, a Duplex that I plan to house hack!

Because I am living at the property I do not plan on using a property management company, however I do want to pay someone to find, screen, and place the tenants on the other side

I’ve been told that some property management companies will do this, but I’m finding this to be less and less the case.

Does anyone know of any services who will advertise, screen and interview tenants?

@Brian Rivera

Charlotte is a great market , but highly highly competitive. Need to find a good realtor who knows where the paths of progress are and what parts of the city to invest in.

Look at the south end area as an example. 10 years ago not much was happening , and was even kinda seen as the “ bad part of town” today it is arguably the main neighborhood of Charlotte to be in now as a young Professional, with a whole bunch of nightlife and new housing.

I Just used a really good investment minded realtor whose from NY originally for my house hack, would be happy to connect you with him.
