What in your insight regarding properties that may be auctioned off due to tax lien?

I know in the 5 borough an individual can't purchase at auction, most if not all of those properties go to banks since they buy in bulk. 

My intent is to get in and work with the property owner and see if they are interested in selling instead of losing the property as well as their credit being wrecked.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Allen. I am in Brooklyn, NY and I am looking to get my feet wet in regards to whole selling.

I know being in the 5 boroughs of NY there a few i guess you would called them hurdles when it comes to doing deals here. 

But before I ask for help, a little introduction.

Mid 30s, pretty laid back guy, love a good quality tequila and who doesn't love tacos lol. I am a dad of two young boys and my biggest goal is to create a life of comfort for them. Yes, I  100% want them to understand the values of hard work and determination, but I also want to lead by example. I want to be someone my boys can be proud of. 

I know i can research till my brain falls out of my head, but non of that learning and research matters unless I am putting it into action.

I would like to connect with those whom are interested in buying properties in NYC. Would love to know what investors and buyers are looking for. I have something I want to target, but would love to have buyers lined up to make the process easier.
