Quote from @Karl Denton:

Hello I’m a local investor in the Hartford county area! Please message me with details on this house maybe I can go ahead with a sale and rent to you. However in regards to credit, have you used credit karma? It’s really helpful telling you what you can do to raise your credit. Missed payments always hurt but there’s nothing you can do other then keep up with them and pay all your minimums if you can’t pay things off. That being said there’s also a way to finance it using creative financing, if the house can be funded using hard money then you may be able to do it this way. They will look at the house and the value to see if it makes sense most times. The other option is seller financing but that’s a risk the seller would have to take, if they are aware of your credit they may be scared to agree to this.  What this is, is basically you agree to a price and you pay them a monthly payment with a down payment you agree on, they you pay for 5 to 10 years and when the house is paid down and up in value you can get a mortgage company to refinance the house and you’ll have an official mortgage. Message for more questions thanks and good luck!

Thanks I sent you a message.  Don’t know if you get them from here

I am living in a home now that was a rent to own property. The company I went through set me up with a credit repair company, that didn’t work all they did was take my money. When the time came to buy the property I wasn’t able to because of my credit not being where it should have been. The home owners thankfully gave us more time to fix up our credit. An extra year has passed I did everything the mortgage lender told me to do then my “wonderful” mother in law screwed my credit up again and dropped it 118 points from 1 missed payment on the mortgage of another home I owned, she was living there and paying the mortgage. One thing I had to do was sell that property, which I just did she seen it as she didn’t need to pay the mortgage because it was being closed on that same month. So now back to square one with my credit. Now here is my major problem. The home owners of the property I live in now want to sell by June. I know my credit isn’t there now, it would have been. I can’t loose this home! My son has just recently been diagnosed with PTSD. Since we have lived here he has been learning to cope with it and heal from his past trauma. So I guess my question is do you know where I can turn to. I’m just looking for a company that buys homes and rents I guess. I really don’t even know what you would call it. But we put so much money and time into this home that even isn’t ours yet, it’s supposed to be our forever home.
