Thank you all for the comments. I want to add that I'm getting my real estate license and I'll be working as an active real estate agent as well so I hope I'll gain alot of contacts as well as good deals with that!

Post: Is this a scam or legit?

My husband and I are both on bigger pockets. We are looking for information and guidance for our first flip. Someone sent my husband a message on here claiming they have a do going on near us and they are looking for someone to work for them to oversee the contractors on their flip while they are out of town. This is a big red flag to me because obviously someone in the investing game would have trustworthy contacts to do those types of things for them they wouldn't just ask some stranger on a forum. My husband on the other hand thought he was getting lucky and making connections and message the guy back apologizing that we would be moving to a different city but that he appreciated his offer and advice. Do investors do this? Should we be weary if a stranger asks us to do something or help them? Am I worried for nothing?? Advice and information on this subject would be greatly appreciated thank you!

I'm moving to Tampa in a few months and I'd like some advice on starting out flipping properties. I'll be starting out doing everything myself until I gain enough capital to hire contractors. Advice appreciated!
