Ben... When using click2mail do you use the prospects name and property address in the message of the post card. Ive tried that with click2mail and its a pain to get the post card formated right. Easier to just upload the peice with no personalization.

Aaron. Couldnt get to a phone on Friday so ill ask here. I know Ryan is a big Dan Kennedy fan as am I. Do you use his style "the more you tell the more you sell" on your postcards or do you use a simple message?

Paul is right on the nose. You have to get to know people first. Everyones so involved in getting systems to do everything for them... when a mechanicl or electronic sales machine is nothing like face to face or when not posible a few hours on the phone with them.

Buying a house is easy. Its 1 formula used over and over... its getting the prospects is what our business is all about. Get Dan Kennedys "The ultimate Sales letter". its about $9.50 online and you can download it.

Put your self in the sellers shoes for a few days and think about what they really want.

If i had a house and im in a possition that i needed out pronto, im not going to listen to someone who puts a value on my home in 10 minutes especially if ive owned it, raised my family here and taken care of it for years. Think about it!

No! Ill never go corporate with the envelope or change the format of my letters.

I was just toying with the idea of a small graphic in the headlines.

I put the letters in my desk a week ago one with the graphics and one with out. Had to get a clear mind again when i looked at them. i just did and the NO graphics wins hands down... oh well just answered my own questin... didnt I!

Bryan...
I always make them look non corporate. Handwritten envelope. stick on return address (usually crooked) and regular stamps.

im just toying a little with the letter it self. But i still use a lot of white space, catchy headline, etc and hand signed. Ill post the results if i try the letter with the graphics

Everything you said it so true but i was just thinking now that everyone has a computer and printer and that people might not turn a way from a printed letter or even one with a graphic.

Ive used courrier font lots of times to look like I sat at an old type writer and banged it out one at a time but at some point people are going to accept the fact that no one hand writes letters any more... even my parents who are in their late 80"s use word and email their letters back to their relatives in Spain.

Just thinking out loud about the subject. I might try it both ways and see what happens. Thats the way I found that the courrier font worked better

Thanks. Thats exactly the answer I was looking for.
Here in CA all the tech radio shows all talk about how good and easy that it is. Im also getting another computer soon so the transfering to the new comp is something that was a must.
