Hello! I am an Economics Undergraduate student and I would have to say Economics is the way to go.  The reason for which being that Economics creates the fundamentals for Finance, Marketing, Accounting, and Management.  Which means you will learn a lot about those types of things.  So when @Kenneth Reimer argues for Finance, I say Economics you'll learn that with even more skills.  You won't, however, learn as in depth on those topics or learn about other financial instruments as well.  Also, with econ you will use math as much as a Finance student, but you will also use statistics like crazy.  So I say you are more likely to learn a little bit about everything you may need with your real estate career, eventually you can expand on those topics.  Disclosure part, I am not a real estate investor just yet, I hope to be within 2 years!

Good Luck!

I've only ever heard experienced people pronounce it as R-E-I, each letter said, but this is also my second post or so, might not be the most reliable.

Hello,

I am a 21 year old college student looking to begin investing in real estate once I get a steady income after college.  For now I am just here to read, watch, and learn.
