The tenants renter's insurance will cover his property (ie, couch). I am talking about my property (ie, appliances, cabinets, carpet). HOA covers the external of the building, not internal. Is it worth it? I lived in the condo many years and never saw the need for it.

Hello all, I have a 1 bedroom condo unit and am new to renting it out. My only question is if you guys recommend getting landlord insurance? I just got my first quote and it's way more than I thought!
