@Michael Baum Yes It is legal in Pueblo, and I have two locations in mind; one is centrally located with close access to Interstate 25, the historic business district downtown and the Pueblo Riverwalk. The other location is in Pueblo West on almost an acre of land (which is not my property). The first location just sounds more appealing. And I would have quick easy access to maintain and upkeep. I just have a feeling that it would be more ideal to sell at retail, purchase a rental and go from there. Do you have any thought of what you would do?

I am nearing the completion of a "skoolie" (bus conversion build) and am in debate over selling for a lump sum to help the fulfill my REI opportunities, or go the Airbnb route. If I chose to Airbnb, I believe I can generate a decent amount of cash flow, profitable within a year and a half, and still be able to fulfill my REI goals. Any thoughts? Located in Pueblo, CO. Thanks!

Hello Eliott!

I want to push myself to make real estate a full time career and a family business! This has been an ongoing conversation and the goals set are to just start reaching out and connecting with everyone I can including potential renters. Within the end of next year, I am working to eventually create at least two cash flowing rentals, whether they are single family homes or multifamily units (preferably multifamily) and to try to wholesale a property. I believe I have broken the goals down into obtainable steps. I have already been reaching out to a few realtors in my area, some of my previous landlords to hear their experience and what steps they took to get into owning multiple rentals, and trying to discuss a way that could potentially invest into me. I understand I have a long way to go, and a lot to learn. Do you have recommendations or tips about goal setting in this industry? If so, I would love to hear them! Thank you, Eliott!

Thank you very much, Alli and Juilo for welcoming me into this great community! So far, just reading through the forums, I have gained a lot of understanding of a few of the strategies that I am interested in, such as wholesaling and BRRRR-ing. Subject-to investing also peaks curiosity. However, I do have many years under my belt in sales management and I am fortunate enough to have some construction experience, so I believe the two strategies I have chosen may be my best starting point.

There are a few properties that I have in mind, one being a large multifamily unit that would have to undergo a major renovation process not to mention a major funding, and a few single family homes and need some TLC. I am looking to meet a few realtor to help me access the MLS site to help initiate some conversations with the owners. If I am missing anything (which I know I can always use more knowledge and backup) I look forward to all insights, criticism, and tips/tricks! Thank you again!
