Hello All,

I am new but very motivated to learn. I currently do not own my own home should that be my first step? Its  not that I cannot afford a home its my credit that is the issue I am eager to get involved in house flipping and learn the ropes.

Hello @steven Kopstein currently we rent we were thinking of maybe doing a live live in flip for our first project. I believe this will allow us to avoid the a high % down payment requirement for investment properties and also lower the risk we are taking. I believe we would be required to live in the home for at least a year but again I am new to this but very excited to learn as much as I can about it all. Thank you for taking time out of your day give me advice.

Hello @LinneaMinnema, I am thinking around the 36th and Burllingame near the old Rogers High school area. I hope to get started very soon thanks for the warm welcome and I wish you much success.

Hello my name is Alex and I am from Grand Rapids, MI I currently work as a process improvement engineer and have no background in real estate. I have often thought about getting into real estate but have let the fear of failure along with lack of know how keep me away. After doing some research my wife and I would like to jump in. I feel that buying a property that we can do a little work on and rent out is a solid place to start my wife thinks going right into flipping houses is the place to begin. My goal is to one day my own successful business.
