Hey Bp, my question I’m in the process of purchasing a second home in FL and currently there are tenants living in the property, can they be evicted during COVID or will they be able to complete their existing lease ?

@Tom S. Thanks for the reply, we are in no rush to move them out but we were told that since we are purchasing it as a 2nd home we have to stay on the property for at least a year but since this pandemic I don’t think we’ll be able to get there when we planned, I’m hoping the law allow us to keep the tenant in the home until their lease is up.

Hi BP family, We are in the process of purchasing a 2nd home in St Pete’s which we plan on living in it for a year to then using it as a rental property, my question is currently there are tenants living in the property, if we do purchase it are the tenants forced to leave or is there a way they can avoid eviction due to the pandemic?

Thank you guys!
