Hello,

I'm going to sell my property in King County WA. I'm doing some major repairs the house and planning to sell it in couple months. One thing I'm not sure about is the pipes. Since I'm going to sell it, just wondering how much of value does it bring if I replace all the pipes vs fixing the broken parts?

At this point, the 2 shower tubs upstairs are not draining well and they leaks downstairs ceiling. The downstairs bathroom sink does not have water. I have not had a chance to have a plumber look at it yet. Just wandering if anyone had similar situation.

Thanks!

It's located at lake city area. Most of the $50k will be upgrade , maybe 80%. Without upgrade, it definitely affect the rental price.

I was only using Zillow and redfin as estimate. Don't want to disturb the tenant yet.

Thanks!

Hello,

My name is Alex. I'm new to the forum. I'm looking for some advise on my rental property at Seattle. I can't decide whether to keep it as rental or sell it.

It's single family built on 1960s. The property is out of date and will need some fixing soon. I thought about remodel and sell last year and the quote is about $40k to $50k. If I sell it now, I will be looking at about $150,000 cash in the pocket. Maybe I can find another property. Look forward to any advises.
