Hi all - Just wanted to reach out and see if anyone could recommend an agent in the Sarasota area. I am looking for a condo in the range of $125k for my grandparents. I am going to purchase the property as an investment so I want someone who works with investors and knows the market well.

Just wanted to reach out and get some advice regarding the Sarasota market. I am looking to buy a condo for my grandparents who are moving there in the range of $125k. I want in to be within 20 min of Siesta key, have 2 bedrooms and be relatively turn key. From what I am seeing, this area seems to be around a 1% return in terms of rental property investments. I am interested to hear your thoughts/advice on my future Sarasota purchase!

Just a quick introduction. I was born and raised in the NYC area and have been interested in real estate since I was in high school. I work in Accounting for a large alternative investment firm in Manhattan and am finally actively looking for an investment property with two other partners. 

We are looking to invest in Union City or Jersey City (Bergen-Lafayette/Journal Square). In Jersey City it must be within walking distance to the light rail or path train. The market we are trying to target is professionals that work in Manhattan and are trying to get more for their money. Our target price is between $100 - $200 thousand and require partial to full rehab. Initially, we are trying to flip houses, and mix in some rentals in the future.

We have had issues finding good real estate agents who are honest and know the market in this area well. It would be great to discuss or meet up with individuals who have been in this game for a while or get a good agent recommendation. 

Hi All - My name is Alex and I am looking to make my first real estate investment purchase somewhere in Union City, NJ or the surrounding area. I work in Accounting in the city and have lived there the past 4 years. I am looking to buy a 2 bedroom condo in the range of 200-250k and live there for 6 months to a year before renting it out.
