Hey all,
In the recent months, I had several opportunities to become a property manager for several rental units (individual units in condo buildings) and more recent managing a whole condo building for an association. The more I thought about it the more it made sense for me to do, due to my long term goal of holding several properties for passive income.
Does anyone can refer me to place where I can learn and understand more about the requirements of becoming a property manager in Illinois?
A little bit about myself:
Attended University of Illinois at Chicago to earn a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and minor in Mechanical Engineering. After several years working for someone, I've decided it was not for me. Listening to BP podcast as well as several other podcast I've decided to switch to real estate. I have been a residential real estate broker with Keller Williams for a while before making the switch to a smaller firm with my family member. Mainly focus working with investors as I am more of a numbers guy and now as well looking to expend to property management.
Any advice would be highly appreciated !
Thank you in advance,
Alex
