I am new to investing, but I have done my research and I feel ready to take action by July 2021. I graduated with an exercise science degree from McKendree University (2020), but I plan to further my education in Physical Therapy. Given my current situation, I have found that house hacking will be the most viable option for my first investment - preferably in multifamily homes.

My short-term goal in real estate is to own at LEAST 3 properties by 2023.

My career goal is to own my own clinic and gym which I know I can accomplish through real estate investing.

I look forward to connecting with others with similar drive and passion for success.

Hello BP friends! I plan to invest in my first property by the time my current lease is up in July 2021. I want to house hack while in graduate school, to cut cost and begin earning passive income. 

I wanted to ask you experienced investors how long it typically takes to find a good deal and close on a property? This way I can plan to make arrangements with real estate agents and loan officers in advance.
