Hello,

Does anyone have experience buying a property that has had bankruptcy filed on it? There is a single family house in my market that I got an email about it being in bankruptcy. Is there an opportunity to buy it off market somehow similar to a foreclosure?

Any insights are greatly appreciated, thanks

Alex

That is a great idea, thanks! I suppose a lot of it comes down to the homeowner as well. If they are comfortable with it being a little more informal than an official purchase offer. I really appreciate the response!

Hello BP community,

I'm looking to get my first deal currently. There's one I have my eye on that might be a good candidate for seller financing based on my conversation with the home owner. Does BP has a general seller/owner financing agreement or form I can use as a staring point? Or does anyone have one they'd be willing to share, trying not to reinvent the wheel.

Thanks

Alex

Hello,

New to the site and a newbie investor. I'm looking into buying a book from the website and wondering which of these three would be the best to start with. The Book on  "Investing with no (and low) money down." the Book on "Rental property Investing," or "How to Invest in real Estate." ? They seem very similar and I'm guessing there is some overlapping content. Is one of them best if I'm lokoing to buy my first property soon? I'll probably read them all eventually.

Thanks

Alex
