Post: Finding Chinese investors for US fund

Im hoping any of you might have some knowledge or experience with this and could help me somehow. Im involved in a real estate investment fund that raises money from Mexican investors and invests it in commercial and residential real estate in the US and it's currently the biggest of its type here. We are in the process of making a new fund aimed at Chinese investors who might be interested in this type of investments in the US. I was hoping you might have an idea of where to start looking for potential investors or if you knew anyone who might be interested in the kind of investment so I could have a first contact with them.

Once the situation gets better we plan to go to China to meet with the potential investors but for that we need to start making a first contact with as many people as possible either through email or phone.

Some additional questions:

-If there are any regulations that wouldn't allow chinese citizens to move the money outside of China and if there aren't any what would be the best way to transfer the money?

-Have you heard of other funds doing this?

Any inputs are appreciated. Thanks!

Hello all, i'm having a difficult time deciding what to do and hope some of you can give me some advice or if any of you have been through a similar situation in the past and what would be the best course of action.

So i just finished a neighborhood development consisting of 250 residential lots (150 more on the second stage of the project) of the highest quality aimed at middle to high income range clients. We have been offering them for the past year but not a single lot has been sold yet even though theres has been already multiple marketing campaigns. The feedback i have been getting ids that noone wants to be the first buyer as they don't know what kind of people will buy more lots (Once you buy a lot you have the liberty to build the house you want to your own liking).

What's strange is that there is no other option in that area with such competitive prices and high quality, we have even though that many people might even be reluctant to inquiry about the lots fearing that they might be too expensive. One option we have is to start building some houses (around 3-4) so people can see that there's movement going on inside this neighborhood and buy too, but it might just bring us a new problem to try to sell houses that simply don't sell.

What's the best approach for a situation like this and i would like to hear if anyone has been in a similar situation. If anyone wants more information about this do not hesitate to contact me.
