Antoine I took a look at the site but unfortunately SC law says you have to take a resident course but I’ll be able to renew online.

Good Afternoon Real Estate Fam!

In my near future (Feb-2018) I'm exiting the Marine Corps after 5 years and am very excited about getting into RE. My GI bill will pay for my school to get my license. My family and I are relocating to the Greenville-Spartanburg area in SC. I'm looking to the BP community for some advice on which school to choose to get my RE License.

So far Ive seen Watt Institute of RE, Carolina's Academy of Re and RE School for Success. Does anyone have a personal experience with these school and what was your experience? I've not found any great reviews online so any advice is greatly appreciated!

In the future I'm excited to work RE for families and investors as well as invest on my own when the time is right.

I just want to thank Matt, Tony, Justin, Jared, Chris, and Troy. I’m very appreciative of all your advice and I’m carefully looking over it. I’m going to continue to mine bigger pockets for all of its knowledge gold while I’m Okinawa so I can hit the ground running in“Merica” As for the books I’m going to read “How to Win Friends and Influence People” first then “Getting to the Yes” followed by some more real estate focused books. This way I can better network while I read/practice analyzing deal until I get to SC in Feb. As soon as I get to SC and get my day job situation handled I’ll try to be in contact with some of you professionals and hopefully we can do some lunch. If anyone knows of a RE company that needs a future agent It would greatly appreciated if you could make the connection for me. I think the next thing to do on BP is make my profile look less “catfishie” by adding some pictures.

Hi Chris, I think we have very similar strategies. You forced me to look up what Brrrr meant. How much did the red tape on the FHA loan set you back? If your living in the deal are you cash flow positive?

Hi everyone, I’m Alex and I’m soon to be heading home from my long 3 year station in Okinawa Japan with the Marines. Let me tell you I’ve never been more proud and excited to be an American! I may kiss that sweet American soil when I get to the home land. My wife and I (and our two pups) are relocating to a new area in South Carolina but haven’t decided on an exact location. We are originally from Ohio but we want to move into a better market and we like the area. I’m really trying to get some advice on what are the hottest markets in SC for multi family, 800-1200 / mo. We plan on living in our first MF investment, I think that’s called house hacking. I’ll be getting my real estate license for a day job but I want more than anything to become an investor and buy that true freedom that real estate can offer. I’ve been listening to the BP podcasts, read Rich dad poor dad, BP Buying real estate is no or low money down, and am currently looking to read a book on networking and I’d love some suggestions! In closing I’m so excited to be apart of this community and chase the dream.
