I decided to share a sad situation
and ask for your support. Some of you know me... I am grandmother and guardian of an awesome 9 year old boy.
His name is Jeramiah. He was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma (Kidney cancer) on January 6th and had his left kidney and grapefruit sized tumor removed on January 8th. Since this is a cancer rarely found in children, the Oncologist does not have much
to offer Jeramiah. We have been seeing a Naturopathic Oncologist and all treatments are out of pocket to the tune of about $500 a week.

No longer can I pursue my Real Estate dreams as I am running non-stop to care for Jeramiah. If you feel led to help by sharing this, perhaps a fund-raiser, I would be most grateful. I confess, I am to the point I will beg for assistance to give Jeramiah a hope for a future and to fulfill his destiny!

God bless,
Vicki Cox

No Vikram, you are not missing anything. You are talking about the regular normal building of business (or even personal) credit.

There are numerous "companies" that claim, for a hefty fee, they can get you lots of business credit using their "inside" sources.

Steve B, Bill,
I totally agree with you.
Steve D.,
I, too, have thought this document mess would spur more willingness to do short sales.

What is everyone seeing in the short sale world?

How did you come out J Scott?

And, what do you all think? Is it time to look "for the exit doors"?

What do you mean by daily/weekly Top 10?

Daniel,
I had a similar problem years ago, except that it was family who asked me to 'just pick up the rent' on their 4 units. 'Just picking up the rent' turned to screening new tenants, cleaning vacant units, yard maintenance and so on. Since I knew the property owners/family had never taken on this task themselves, they were really clueless as to how time intensive it was. Once I realized that, I simply gave them time to find someone else and did not spend my time trying to convince them of the headache they put on me, etc... I just bowed out gracefully.
I am thinking your friend does not realize and can not be easily convinced of what a headache this is for you. Perhaps it's time to bow out gracefully.
