Hey Patrick! I would love to learn more about these opportunities. I will definitely send you a PM.

Thanks for the reply Patrick. I was afraid of that :(. I feel like a city like Boston, the investors would have chewed it up by now. I appreciate the offer and if I do find a deal, I'll probably analyze it myself and ask the forums to double check my math! Thanks again.

P.S. Central Mass... I'll keep a note of that.

Welcome to BP!

The podcasts are excellent and its great you are educating yourself. You can also look into attending local REIA's and meet ups to learn with investors in the area

Thanks, Steve!

At first, the podcast was still a little too much but the information I got from the web really complimented it well. Now I can follow along pretty smoothly! Also, I'm definitely looking forward to attending some meet ups.

Hello,

BiggerPocket Forums!

My name is Alex Nguyen and I live in the Boston, MA area (Medford more specifically). I recently graduated from college and just learned about Real Estate investing and the possibility of passive income. So far I've been listening to BP Podcast while commuting, reading real estate/business books and watching YouTube videos. Right now I am currently trying to find, analyze and purchase a multifamily unit (2-4) so I can house hack. I currently live with my parents and they are moving to Atlanta soon but I wanted to stay here in Boston. Was just wondering how the market is there and also here in Boston, Medford, Malden, Everett, Somerville, etc.

Anyways, thanks listening, reading, and replying back to me!  I will try to be somewhat active in the forums and post questions on top of questions, as I have no idea what I am doing!

P.S. Ignore my profile picture, I do not have a recent professionally taken picture. But I hope it gives me some personality. Also, I will probably try to attend any REI meetups if possible. So if you have any information about hem in my area, that'll be great!
