Hello all, any advice in terms of buying an STR property in Largo/ St. Petersburg vs. Bradenton (Ana Maria & Bradenton beaches) vs. further South near Rotonda (Boca Grande beach)? What are the vacancy rates in any of those areas? We are looking at 3 beds / 2 baths within 10 minutes from the beach. Would appreciate any information. Thx!

We are looking at properties in Charlottesville, about to put an offer on one of them. Would you recommend a good property manager? Would also be great to talk to someone from the area.

Hello, my name is Aleksandra. Me and my husband are looking to invest in VA and North Carolina. We looked at Charlottesville, Roanoke, Asheville, Research Triangle but we have an open mind as to where to start location wise. We are looking to expand our investor-friendly network in these areas. @Chris Strokes thanks for initiating this. Me and my husband would be interested in joining. We are in Haymarket near Manassas. We can hypothetically book a Club House, but will need to find out if there are any costs involved. Will get back to you. 

Anybody buying properties in the southern states? I live close to Washington DC, and want to invest going South and West. Texas and Arizona might be a bit too far to start with. Although, I don't totally exclude these options. Ideally, both - cashflow and appreciation. Thanks in advance. 

@Thornton Drury, @Brandon Koster I have also been looking at Huntsville. What worries me is how easy it is to find people who will rent? It sounds like it's better to buy overall and prices are very low. Would really appreciate any insight on this, and also on the areas/neighborhoods that are trending.
