My family and I currently rent a unit in Marlton, we’re not looking to purchase a home for flexibility/traveling reasons. I feel that getting my feet wet in something like single family or small multi family will put me at a higher risk financially with vacancies/tenant issues. My thought is to decrease the possibility of vacancies by increasing the units and cash flow.

Can you go over the key components of understanding the Market and what is a Good deal in commercial Real estate 5+ units.

@Aaron K. My cellphone for my wife and I is $60 per month we no longer have cable or internet we use our cellphones/computer for TV/hotspot etc. I’ve cut down in every expense possible. I’m only making about 15/hr part time- because of apples politics with moving to full time. I’ve even considered leaving the company and selling cars full time in order to put some moneys aside for investing. What is my starting point how can I (in the mean time) get out there learn and prepare myself for what’s to come in the future.

@Aaron K. Being that I don’t have a degree, and currently employed for Apple Inc. not making too much money how would someone like your self start raising capital? Thanks so much for the advice btw 🙏🏽

@Aaron K. 1) I know the basics of the math- Figuring NOI,CAP RATE ETC.

2) I currently do not have the capital to invest in such projects.

I’m just starting out in real estate investing, and looking to own my first multi family property in 2019.  

@Sam Grooms Hey Sam, I also have the same ambitions. My issue currently is gaining the capital for such projects, I’ve sat down all friends and family multiple times explaining the benefits. So many people are afraid to take the leap, is there any advice you could give me in regards to any other pipelines to fulfill such projects?

@Dan Mackin does anyone know if there are any meeting here in south jersey?
