Thanks Ann,

I am reading quite a bit on wholesaling and I must say, it definitely doesn't look easy. What I want to do is find a way to build up a business. I am not looking for just retirement, I am looking for something I can work on as my primary. not sure quite yet which that would be or how to do it. I hope to be able to accomplish this over the next couple of years.

Hey All,

Very excited to join the forum. I've been toying with the idea of getting into REI but have not taken the lead yet. I just got serious about it and am devouring everything I can read/listen to. So far the Biggerpockets podcast is awesome and I have been reading some of the reading material as well. as like many of you the motivation started the first time I read/listened to Rich Dad Poor Dad. Awesome book. Leaves a little to be desired but a great foundation.

I have a wife and two little ones at home so house hacking is out of the question. I am looking seriously into Wholesaling as well as building a portfolio of rental properties. Any advice is more than welcome.

Wholesaling seems like it would be the most turnkey to start with. I currently work in sales and have difficult money conversations all the time. I spend a fair amount of time negotiating as well. Seems like the logical choice. I just got done reading "how to quit your job in 19 days" very interesting and motivational book, although I am not sure your are allowed to double escrow any longer. I am still new and still learning.

Any advice for a would be REI would be amazing.
