Thanks Federico! Any ideas how the claims process is for Obie? Their signup process seems fairly smooth.

Hi everyone, I also recently signed up with Obie earlier this year for several of our properties and found them incredibly easy to get quoted and a policy written. The sign-up experience is 10/10 compared to other antiquated sign up flows.

I wanted to know - if anyone has any experience filing claims with Obie and how that process has been for them?

Hi,

Does anyone doing medium-term rentals by-the-room (SFH rented out to individuals in separate rooms living under same shared roof, individuals rotate over ~6+ months) have insurance recommendations?

Seems insurers are unlikely to insure this kind of set up but curious to understand your experience insuring a similar home.

Would regular landlord policies with an addendum cover this?

How would you get some kind of specialty coverage for this? Would it be similar to insuring a STR (rotating tenants)?

Thanks!

Hi,

I'm looking for landlord insurance for a couple rental properties (SFHs) in NorCal (Manteca, Tracy, Lathrop area), and was looking for good investor-friendly providers at competitive rates. Any suggestions?

It's a plus if they offer any good bundling options for an umbrella policy for 2-3 homes, as we're looking to get one for the first time.

I know some insurers have been leaving the CA market recently so looking for updated recommendations based on your personal experiences.

Thanks!
