@Melissa Gittens

Melissa, A friend of mine who does not use biggerpockets wanted me to ask about investing in the Quinnipiac area for student rentals. He came across an internet article saying that due to the typically Party scene that often colleges face town officials made a rule saying that landlords must live in the building if they are renting to students. Is this true? Article can be found here: http://www.nbcconnecticut.com/news/local/Hamden-La...

Thanks

Miranda,

Thanks for the tip! that's a great idea. I definitely want to give this a try. Being that these homes had code violations did you find that the homes had additional problems more then just code issues. i feel with code issues comes a general neglect for the property. But a great way to find motivated sellers! Did code enforcement ask why you wanted this list in the first place?

Hey BP community,

Have a question for all you guys that have experience in Land flipping with getting the tax delinquent land lists. I emailed 30+ county treasurers and obtained some lists for free. My problem is the best way to sort this information or even know what i'm looking for. These lists dont seem indicate parcel ids or APN's or even back taxes owed. I read about some people using imacros to search the internet to gather more information, does anyone have experience in this? Looking for the most efficient way to gather this info so i can begin sending out a mailer. Thanks!

Steve, the house is in oneonta. I bought it with no tenants. But the upcoming students did sign a 1 year lease. Thats why i have to float the mortgage till i get that first semesters rent.

Wayne, we would need about 4k we figured, but we thought we could get a Loc for more and not use it And just let it sit for reserves. Our idea behind this was again save capitol for future projects
