Ellis,

That makes sense and now I understand the motive behind getting the license.

Thanks

Hey,

I'm currently educating myself on becoming a investor and I had a conversation with a established real estate agent. During the conversation the agent stated that it would be better for me to get my  Real estate broker license vs just being an investor. I asked why and the response was "I would be leaving money on the table" just being an investor. My thought process is getting my license would be planning to go work for a  Real estate company and that's not my intent. With this info can you help me understand how I would be leaving money on the table as an (investor) vs getting Real estate broker license? If getting my broker license opens more doors as an investor, I'm totally open to getting the license.

Thanks in advance

@Alec Javan

Alec do you use websites such as Auction.com, Zillo, etc? I’ve used these website however they seem to target home buyer and not investor.

Thanks

I’m totally new to this. As into real estate investing, should I look to get real estate license or not? I’m not sure if it’s a benefit or time wasted?
