Hi - I purchased a multi family with an FHA. I lived in the unit for over a year, and am looking to move and rent out the unit, and finally convert the building under an LLC. My mortgage company doesn't allow this. Any insight would be appreciated?

Hi Basit,

I should clarify. I mean a residential prop, in which I am house hacking. Sounds like I should be using 27.5 years as a depreciation rate.

Hi there!

I purchased a multifamily unit in DC and looking for a tax expert to assist with filing taxes for last year. (Particularly with expertise in depreciation estimation)...

Anything helps! Thanks!
