I have just moved to Atlanta, GA from the UK because my wife is from here. I have some money to invest in rental property but I’m unsure which country to invest in in the upcoming recession and when that will actually be for the US(?).

My businesses are in the UK as well as my first and currently only property (which I Airbnb) and I have good credit there.

I have no credit in the US but plan to live here for at least 6-8 months per year in future.

Would it be best to focus on purchasing rental properties in the UK where my other assets are?

Or do you think there is a better opportunity in the US for ROI especially in a city like Atlanta taking everything into account including cash flow, appreciation, tax savings etc etc...

Any insights or ideas on what you think will give the best ROI in the upcoming recession will be highly appreciated.
