@Brett Snodgrass, Thank you for the warm welcome. I certainly enjoy my portfolio, it just got a little bit better when one of my tenants at the apartment complex nearly burnt down their unit and now my insurance is fixing it all up and I am replacing my worst tenant and will be able to rent it out for a lot more because I was well below market. I will cya around the forums! I need to learn a thing or two about wholesaling.
@Dean U., Thank you for the warm welcome. I work on all the islands. I am negotiating two leases in Oahu right now (one on s. king street and one on Nimitz hwy). If these leases are executed, I will be buying a place there. I love the aloha spirit. I have found the locals to be welcoming and my coworkers there are some of the best people I know. I am working with a couple of investors from Oahu. One of which is my principal broker on the islands, Miles Kamimura. Do you know him?

Hey everyone!
My name is Adam. I am a corporate real estate director for a company operating in Oregon, SW Washington, and Hawaii. While I specialize in retail, I also do a significant amount of work in industrial, and multi family. I like to own industrial the most, multi family is something I also like. I have a 300,000 sq ft corporate office/warehouse (owner occupied), and I own 10,000 sq ft prime retail in Beaverton (for sale right now) as well as in the jantzen beach shopping center. I have a 24 unit apartment complex, three single family homes, and 3 vacation homes I rent out while I am not using it for myself or for my employees (one in Palm Springs, one in Kailua-krona, and one in kanapalli maui).
I am interested in learning from The community here, as well as making friends with other real estate investors. I like to scuba, ski, play tennis, go hiking. I love traveling, wine tasting, and exploring new restaurants. I am also learning how to spear fish, and am currently at the "shark bait" phase of my learning with that.
