Hello All,

I recently heard on the Biggerpockets PODCAST an Ad for Found.com (Banking and Bookkeeping) and went to check it out, however it is only for single member LLC's. Has anyone used or know of a similar system for multi-member LLC's? The system looked pretty slick considering the seamless integration between banking and bookkeeping.

Thanks

Quote from @Cory Vitale:

Hey @Adam Hoeker some my clients use QuickBooks, and it is definitely a great and industry standard accounting tool. However, for my personal investments I graduated from spreadsheets to software by using Buildium once I reached 3-4 units.

This allowed me to pay a single economical price for a software that actually kills several birds with one stone. In addition to organized bookkeeping, Buildium provided other benefits that accounting only softwares do not, such as lease renewals with esignatures, maintenance requests, a tenant portal for rent collection, 1099 preparation for vendors.

I think it's a great solution for someone at your phase in the real estate investing journey. I'd be happy to connect and chat in greater detail if it would be valuable!

Thank you Cliff for the feedback.  I'm looking into having someone help me do the initial setup while we are still small and then transition to full bookkeeping later on.

Hello Alecia,

Thank you for the feedback and advice.  I know Quickbooks can be its own animal and I will certainly take the time to get some training.

When did you transition to Quickbooks?  How many units?

Thank you Nathan!  The outline was comprehensive and I will review a few apps to fully understand their features.  It certainly gave me some things to think about.

Hello BiggerPockets community,

I am new to real estate investing and we now have 3 properties and accelerating.  Before the accounting side of the business management gets too far, I was wondering if there are any recommendations on an easy Bookkeeping tool.  I know there is Quickbooks...but what are you using?  Thanks all in advance for your feedback.
