@Michal Kasza

I didn’t we bought our first house for our family in Plymouth a few months ago but will be looking at real estate deals as the markets changes over the next year. Are you looking at multi units specifically or flipping as well?

@Michal Kasza

I too am from Massachusetts and looking to start my real estate career. I am from the Cape area of Mass but am looking for some cash flow from multi families. Does anyone invest in Providence? What about Taunton multis? I’d love to get some locals perspectives on the market as I am starting out myself!

@Kelly Claiborne

Hi Kelly. Definitely lack of funds for me too! I also happen to live in an expensive area outside Boston / Cape Cod but definitely want to find my first property nearby. Also with everything going on, should I wait for market conditions to potentially deteriorate? What made you make the first move to close on your deal? I anxiously want to break out of the rat race!

@Babek Sandhar

Waiting for the “ideal” market conditions can leave you paralyzed and miss many great opportunities.

Here’s the deal, you need to hedge yourself in case market conditions get turbulent. But and hold on a cash flowing property is ideal and rents typically go up during a recession as many folks are unable to afford housing at that point.

If we do hit a recession, be ready to pull that trigger! Then you can flip and rent to your hearts content.

The silver lining here is trying to time the market is never going to be a good idea.

@Nathan G. I’m a huge fan of the Rich Dad Poor Dad author Robert Kiyosaki. I also got the audible book Cashflow Quadrants by the same author and found much invaluable information.

He’s able to give some real life scenarios his rich dad put him through put thinking about wealth in context.

Any of the books by Tony Robbins are incredible as well. He is so inspiring and is an absolute wealth of knowledge in finance and self growth.
