Hey everyone,

I want to get into Multifamily real estate investing. I am analyzing deals. While I do my research I want to learn how others have raised money, how people structure these deals, and even how to properly present the opportunity to potential investors.

Are there any good books on the topic?

Hey everyone,

I currently live in Atlanta, GA, and I am looking at some multifamily deals. I would like to network, and get to know some commercial brokers or agents in my market to help me learn the current cap rates around the deals that I am looking at.

Hey everyone,

I was presented an opportunity to purchase a condo in this apartment complex. It is a unique situation because originally the developers were selling it as condos and after the market crash they switched it to just rentals. So now there are 5 condos owned privately and the rest is owned by the developers. Do you think this is adding value or devaluing the condo? There are no rental restrictions.

I would be acquiring this condo at a steep discount, and is in very good condition.

Zillow Zest is 293k i would be coming in at 200k.

It’s a 1bd 1bth. Im thinking I can buy it, refinance, then rent or Airbnb.

This is in Atlanta, GA. Just curious to hear other perspectives.

Thanks!

Hi guys, I’ve been doing a lot of reading on wholesaling and would like to try it. I live in NYC and its a expensive market. I’m wondering if anybody on here has been successful at wholesaling properties in New York. Is it legal here? How can I find out if it is? I’m curious to hear from anyone in the Tri-state area and New England (MA, RI, CT). Thanks!

Thanks for the reply Anthony. What do you think would be the most accurate way a new investor such as myself can see what a property is really worth? Especially browsing on sites like Zillow.
