I learned from this website that you should get a good thick deal on a house just in case the market drops. Is there like a chart or somewhere that you can go to the trend lines? Or is it a multitude of things that you look at to guess where the market is at
? At this point I wouldn't even know if the market dropped or not.

What are all the expenses that comes with a house?(single/Multi) Where can I look up to see what each individual expense would amount to?

Thank you all for your wonderful advice. I will pursue this avenue.

I'm looking into buying my 1st property. I want to take out a loan to buy a duplex and rent it out. I'm in the navy and I feel like it's a good rental's market around the base because of the navy. Is this a good 1st step?(I'm stationed in Norfolk, VA)
